Getting to Camp

Transport from regional departure points is included in the cost of camp. There are 23 departure points across England, each offering transport to some camps but not all.

Transport is only available to camps within the same area or to central camps. E.g. If you want to use our transport and live in Manchester - choose a Northern or Central camp. If you live in Devon - choose a Southern or Central camp.

If you travel on one of our coaches, your journey time is likely to include changing vehicles at a central location and your journey time will be longer than if you make your own way to camp. Please note: You don’t have to use our transport.

Your first meal at camp will be an evening meal, so we recommend you have a good breakfast and bring a packed lunch with you for the journey.

Final details of where your transport will leave from/return to and departure/return times will be confirmed two weeks before you go to camp. The earliest check in will be 08:30; the latest return time will be 18:00 hours (depending on road conditions).

For camps in central England we offer return transport from ALL departure/return points. These camps are: Beaumanor, Castleton, Coalbrookdale, Coalport, Crowden, Edale, Gradbach, Ilam Hall, Ravenstor
