Accommodation

The majority of camps are held at Youth Hostels owned by YHA, which has more than 75 years experience in providing accommodation for young people. YHAs are safe, clean and comfortable, often with large garden or grounds, games rooms and large dining/living areas.

Some accommodation is provided by our partner organisations, which we visit to ensure they offer at least the same standard of facilities we demand of our own locations.

Children are allocated a bunk-bed in a room, sharing with up to seven other children of the same sex and similar age. Male and female toilet and shower facilities are close to all rooms. Sensible lights-out times ensure everyone gets a good night’s sleep and staff accommodation is located nearby, with Team Leaders on duty to ensure your child is able to sleep safe and sound.

Your child will be on the go all the time, so it’s important they’re well fed during camp! Breakfast will normally consist of cereals, bread or toast, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt and fruit juice. Lunch is generally a sandwich, savoury snack, fresh fruit, squash and a snack bar or biscuit. A healthy, home cooked meal will be served every evening. If your child has special dietary requirements please let us know when you book. We can cater for most special diets if we know in advance.

More information about accommodation can be found on the individual camp pages.
