The safety of young people is a priority at all our camps. YHA (England and Wales) Limited insist on high standards of health and safety by applying strict management standards developed in line with Health & Safety legislation and good practice. We are approved by many Local Education Authorities and youth organisations such as the Girl Guides and Scouts. All camps and activities are risk assessed and our activity partners hold relevant operating licenses where necessary.
If there is an accident at camp involving your child, we will contact you immediately using the contact information you provide on the application form. We have staff with first aid qualifications on site and pre-established contact with local doctors, dentists and hospitals in case of emergencies.
YHA and programme partners hold public liability insurance however this does not include personal insurance for your child.
